Got a local guy with a set of 906's. Stock valve size, fresh valve job, mild port job. Dual valve springs. No flow numbers. What's a fair price to offer?

Assuming they are hardened, what's a fair price to offer. I will see them tomorrw at a car show I'm headed to.

I passed on the heads. They are clean, new bronze guides. Extremely mild port, more of a blend then a port. New valves and springs but guides look to be origonal.  If anyone is looking for a set I can forward the info.

I didn't ask. They were supposed to go with a 440 he has,  .020 78 block with flat top pistons. The whole thing is apart, to include the heads, 800 was the price for the whole thing but I was just interested in the hads. I can find out.
