A few Mopars from the 37th annual St. Ignace car show

The 37th annual St. Ignace cars show drew a few Mopars and I shot a few pictures in my travels about town the night before and the day of the show. The show was on the last weekend in June and as usual it was a fairly huge event by Upper/Northern Michigan standards. The weather cooperated with a fairly nice weekend, although it managed to warm up pretty good on Saturday and quite a few sunburns were spotted by the end of the day! Probably close to a thousand cars in the show plus a few 100 more that didn't really enter the show but were cruising the area over the weekend. Not a lot of Chargers actually in the show...we entered the 69RT/SE and there was a 69 Hemi car plus a 68RT. There were a number of other Chargers about town but I never really managed to get any photos of them. First two photos are of the 68 RT running the streets of St. Ignace the evening before the show, next is a 69 roadrunner and my AAR, all these were taken on June 29th in the late evening.

A few more photos from the evening of June 29th in St. Ignace, MI...first will be a pair of Darts then a Super Bee and a Charger of the more modern variety.

Here's a couple photos of the Hemi Charger from the evening of June 29th in St. Ignace. The Hemi didn't appear to enjoy the slow traffic along with the hot temperatures and need a fill up of the radiator to get through the evenings festivities. Next is a  a V-code Super Bee from June 30th along with a Chrysler 300.

A final photo of the crowd at St. Ignace, it remained like this most of the day. Last will be a couple of photos my Son and I lined up of our two operational Mopars on July 7th at an out of business(for sale) motel/restaurant near Trout Lake, MI. Hopefully soon our 70 FC7 V-vode RT/SE can join the party

If I had known about this, I may have taken the trek up north.  Any excuse to see northern Mi is a good one.
