Wow-how's that Gear Vendor's OD?  How does the car run now?

I like it. It feels just like a normal upshift, similar to a 4th gear. It was a mixed bag though. The high stall 10" converter made it feel a little mushy sometimes, so I pulled it last friday. I'm having the converter rebuilt with a few new parts. They're going to lower the stall approximately 500 rpms. This should make the car react faster and reduce slippage at freeway speeds.
The GV was bought for $1200 from a pal. Add $125 to modify the driveshaft. I HAD 4.10 gears but switched to 3.91s.

I see.  Looks like a GV OD is on the to-do list for my car as well...
