Lets face it, with the very rare exception of having to sell due to divorce or financial difficulties, more often than not we sell a car because w've had enough of it so it doesn't really matter what the next owner does with it.  If you cared that much about it...............you wouldn't sell.   :Twocents:

Brilliantly said.  I've never understood the scenario that involves people who love their cars but have to sell, with the exception of financial crisis' of course...

Is that your baby in your signiture box myk? Looking mighty good.  :2thumbs:

Uh yeeeah...I say that with a dash of modesty as I didn't "pimp my ride" to the point that I could park it besides a lot of your guys' much finer cars.  I really wish I had taken it down to the unibody/frame and built it back up but that couldn't happen-at least not now.  Nevertheless, it's my perfectly flawed car and I love it to death.  Unfinished, I sprung it out of the body shop today because it's been 5 painstaking months and took it to a cruise/show.  I never thought I would live to see the day where I could drive up and down Grand Avenue with all of the other machines, seeing people's arms shoot up and then see a flash as they took a picture.  The ones that freaked me out were the people that practically jumped out in front of the car to get a shot as we rolled by.  With kids yelling and pointing, girls looking vaguely interested, looking our way, and people chatting my ear off before I could even get out of the car I can say that it's finally worth it.

I'm still waiting on front side markers, bumper bolts, door lock knobs and lots of other little pieces to arrive and be installed.  I still don't have a console.  There's a nasty in-gear rattle I'm getting from the body I have to sort out.  I'm also planning to ship the car off AGAIN to a trusted service center for a complete rewiring (driving home without dash and tail lights and the occasional no-power-because-of-the-bulkhead-deal REALLY SUCKED).  The body shop wanted to keep the car and truly finish it but I just can't live without the car any more; I'll finish it myself.  Sell it?  My dear Lord perish the thought.  Now.  If I could just find a place to park it...
