just wondering if theres a bleeding procedure for a new pump or if i have to bleed the steering box somehow? might be a stupid question but i figure its worth asking, thanks

Just steer back and forth

leave the cap on loose otherwise it could blow a seal somewhere.  I did that with my 85 CJ7 trying to bleed out the air from a new power steering box I installed.  Ended up blowing out the seal big time.
