Seam sealer for roof gutters?

The roof rails or gutters, what seam sealer did you use? Evercoat has Maxim 822 Firm or 823 med. that is epoxy in a two part cartridge but it's kinda pricey. Bill said he used a 3M  brand but looking at them there are about 5 to pick from?
I'm leaning more towards the Maxim as it's epoxy and the only one I found rated OK to go over bare steel and other paints. (Thinking it would seal and be the toughest in the long run.) Opinions?  :scratchchin:

Neal, I used 3M's Heavy Drip Check sealer. Came in a small tube. Worked fine for me.  :2thumbs:

Hey Bill!  :2thumbs:
My local supplier Icon said they sell a urethane 3M for this, comes in a caulking cartridge. As I'm stuck going hard top (Roof to messed up to go back to white vinyl.) I wanted something really durable. (With the plan re painting to B5 Blue later after the white.)
I'll GoOgLe it and check it out!  :scratchchin:

I'm sure there are better products out there, Drip Check is not a urethane or epoxy or anything.
I've used it on cars that have been done over 10 years, & it's holding up fine & hasn't cracked. I used it on the dutchman panel, rear valence panel/corners, drip gutter, etc.

Hudson Hornet !

I really really like Valvoline's Plio grip self leveling seam sealer.  32 bucks and you need a special caulking gun, but most shops will loan you a gun to do the job.

Plio grip is a two part product and it is tough stuff.
You've never heard of a Hudson hornet ? !

Thanks for the input! Part of my inquiry stems from the fact that along with my planned blue repaint I have trunk gutter repairs and may use this stuff to protect my crappy patches. I just started my rear window/duchman filler panel "clearing and grubbing" operation....what a mess!
