My C500 arrived in the UK 15 years ago in August whilst I was at the Mopar Euro Nationals.
I said that weekend that I would get her ready for her 50th year and take her to the 2019 Euro's here in the UK.
Looks like I have got a mere 7 months to finish her to keep my promise... :scratchchin:

Well put Mopar John!
December 19th 1968 was the last day that Charger R/T's were removed from the production line and sent to Creative for C500 conversion.
I have no paper trail for my C500, but she went to Florida along with my friends C500 which is an early production car.
I was given to believe that it was Don Garlits 'Crower car' as its a manual and his was a manual 4-speed too.
The many layers of black and red paint that had been partly removed and then totally removed by me seemed to fit the story?
Apparently the car was damaged along both sides that prompted the repaint from F8 to black and red.

The Garlits paint job is sharp!

Happy Christmas to you, John!

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Hi Greg,

Many happy returns to you and your family this Christmas! :woohoo:

The Ertl model has a strange 'peachy red' color, but I'm sure the original color was more R6, or maybe T5... :shruggy:

My guess is the original was more of a T5 color than any red.

Looks almost Crimson here?
