What is your take on this one...  Our D.A. is hob-nobbing at the country club and gives alchol to a minor.  He claims he is there for only an hour serving (how convienient).  The dude gets REALLY SMASHED, gets in a fight with his Girlfriend, and walks home.  His BAC is .245 ~!!!  I wish I could get THAT DRUNK on free Booze!  :)  Guy is SO drunk he is walking in the middle of a country road home, and a local student HITS him (we have a new UC).  So I'm thinking our D.A. GOES DOWN, what do you guys think?

I think the D.A.'s comments are CRAP.

Here is AUDIO to interview:

I think he will get a slap on the wrist from his country club friend/Judge.No public servant ever does any real time unless someone in power is out to get them. And if they do time, they go to a " Country Club" prison like Martha Stewart did.Not a prison like the average guy.

He ougt to be beaten with a stick then disbarred.
The big stink as far as the Ca Bar is concerned, is that he say's he can't always "be the cop".  But unfortunatley, when he swore his oath to the bar, he swore to uphold the law at all times (something to that effect)...  So the bar is not that happy w/ him.

Nothing much will happen to the DA you can be sure of that.     Local politicos bury stories with their relatives and whatnot all the time.   If something actually happens to them it's something lame like the censure a local judge got for being drunk on the job while trying a case here recently.
They used to pulll a LOT of DWI roadblocks up here.... but they'd never catch the pro drinkers.... they would catch local politicos, judges and lawyers and such so they stopped them for the most part.

Meanwhile,  if the guy that died had been served by a sub-minimum wage + tips bartender.... he'd be somebodies prison b*tch about now.

I'm with you guys, I'm betting he'll just get a slap on the wrist & a stern finger shake. :nono:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
