New Chevy SS to be revealed at Daytona 500

If you'd like a new car with rear wheel drive, the new Chevy SS will be revealed at next year's (2013) 500 along side the Australian variant, the Holden Commodore 'VF'.

This is good news for both car enthusiasts and the feeble australian car market. These cars are a lot fun for a relatively cheap car. Ask any GTO owner.

"Specific updates should include improved suspension, electric power steering, an electric parking brake, collision warning and blind-spot detection systems, and keyless engine start. Expect a choice of V-6 and V-8 engines for the Commodore, while the SS is likely to come exclusively with a V-8. A V-6 option may be added to the SS range if demand is sufficient."
