I'm looking for more info on this carb. Long story short, I pulled the motor (440) out of a mud drag racing truck that had been totaled but the motor was still baisically brand new for my Plymouth and upon first glance I thought it was a typical Carter AFB or Edlebrock style carb, but upon closer inspection it says Weber and has other markings which I have never seen before. The motor is pushing 550-600 horsepower so I'm sure its at least an 850 or larger. I'm just looking for more info, anything can help!

EDIT: Im having issues with pictures I'll try and get them up soon

Hmm, interesting.  In trying to find some info I ran across some cool info on the company.  I believe still owned by Fit of Italy.  Born an italian compay and purchased in the 50's.
More info here including model codes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weber_carburetor

Weber bought the rights to the Carter designs and were selling them under their own name for awhile, perhaps still for all I know.  They were the ones making them for Edelbrock as well by the way.

looks like a Edelbrock performer ,   look at the numbers that are stamped where the white arrow is pointing  , & look it up on their web site

my 800 thunder AVS has got weber cast all over it  :yesnod:

Definatly a Caterbrock carb , most I have seen have the Weber markings , no bigger than 750 cfm max as that is just the AFB design , the thunder AVS design gos to 800 cfm but that is not what you have .
