I wanted to snap a picture of it but totally forgot. Too busy :drool5:

Right in front of the Parts Desk is sitting a 426 Hemi!  :o

The dealership about 50 miles from here has one of the 426 hemi cut away displays. I remember staring at it as a kid when my dad worked there. If I remember correctly it is automated. It's also painted chrysler turquoise. I always wondered about that. I'll try and remember to take my camera and snap some pics the next time I'm in Escanaba.

Just a display is my guess. It's sitting on a sort of thing with wheels so it can be moved and it's pretty dusty. It's missing a couple parts but it's hard to mistake the valve covers with the wires coming out of the top  :icon_smile_big:

It's not a cutaway either. The block is painted orange, chrome valve covers.

I imagine it would take about as much to get it running as it would a junkyard find. There was one at a Dodge dealer here (which has since lost its franchise) that had one and when I asked about it they told me it had pretty much nothing for internal parts. Also, IIRC, they said the block and/or one of the heads was cracked and may have been a warranty return that had sat around for years.

Nope. It's white with a green gut and a 400. Same wheels as the one in your avatar pic. Green pinstrips too if I remember correctly.

It's been gone for a year or two now. Last I saw it, it was sitting in the yard next to the old Northwoods bar. Right across from Bearnie's back inn.
