use what weight the manual says....you can go with synthetic, but if you have a sure-grip....use friction modifier as well

We use Valvoline Synthetic at our shop

You know yer gonna get 50 different opinions and you will be just as confuzed as you were when you first asked

fsm says i can run 90wt in temps that get to -10 degrees. this is a summer car so should i go lighter weight?

I would not go any lighter than straight 90w...although I'm not sure if synthetic is made in straight 90w

I do know that 75-90w synthetic is made...that would be fine...
