Evening all.  Got a 68 Dodge with an automatic tranny with a 3 prong NSS.  I realize the 68's were 1 prong.  I have the brown wire going from the starter relay to the middle prong in the NSS.  The car starts in Neutral but does not in Park.  Do I need another wire from the switch or is this totally unrelated and I must use my awsome electrical skills :smilielol: and find another problem?

Late '68 had the 3-prong switch, May 15 was the changeover date.

Your problem is probably in the linkage, it's not pulling the shift lever all the way into Park. Worn or missing plastic bushings in the shift linkage is the usual cause. Place the shifter in Park and then crawl under the car and see if you can push the shift lever back some more.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

John...ok bro, thanks for the heads up.  Just curious, the center pole on the NSS is the one that I need to be connnected to?  While the outer 2 poles go to the taillights?
