Prayers for my mom and others today

My mother lost her husband my father to cancer several yrs ago.  For the past 13 to 14 years she has been seeing a guy who also lost is wife to cancer.  No he didn't raise me since I am in my late thirties now.  But he was a great guy helped my mother tremendously during this time.  Me and him also became good friends and I'm not one to have many friends for I'm not a big socializing person for I have not met many people worth knowing.  But he was different not like many pretending to be someone they are not.  He was exactly who he portrayed to be.  He was also my future engine builder which I was looking forward to this tremendously.  I was motivated and moving along trying to get to this point to spend this time with him and learn more about the internals of an engine.  My car has set since my dad passed away since it was his car that he bought new and we were going to fix it up together but that didn't happen.  Me and my wife had finally got to the point where I could start spending some funds on it.  The engine building part had me extremely excited but now I just don't know.  But on 4/13 he and my mother had just left a camper store looking a campers to buy since she had just retired the week before to start camping.  But they were in an auto accident.  He had several injuries and went thru many surgeries just when they were going to downgrade his condition he had a major setback that he was not able to recover from.  He passed away on 4/25/12.  Please pray for his family especially his grand kids, daughter and my mom and all those that loved him.  If you have someone waiting on you to spend time with you do it now.

Having just lost my own father, you have my deepest sympathies for both of the families.  You didn't say how your mother is doing from the accident so I hope she came out ok.  Nobody knows when that time or day will come we leave our loved ones or they are taken from us so as stated earlier make the best of the time you have now.  Life can be full of regrets and we aren't able to change or fix them but the possibilities you have control of should be addressed asap so they don't become another regret later to bear.

Thanks for the kind words guys.  Hadn't had much time here lately to get back on here.  But my wife and I went and picked my mom up today and brought to our house until she can take care of herself a little better.  She seems to be doing ok considering all.
