Hmm, I was told when I first finished my 70 Challenger vert and had it at Monster Mopar that all Convertible E bodies had space savers not reg spares and was dinged for it.  I went out and found space saver bracket and bottle for a good chunk of $$$$$ just to make it right :brickwall:  I wonder if the full size sub had to be ordered or it was just a random option??? :shruggy:

The car show "expert" was 1/2 right.....I believe the space saver was mandatory in the E-Body rags when 15" wheels were ordered. Mine is a 14" Road wheel car with the original, dated spare and coded for conventional spare tire on the build sheet.....Code W08 if I remember correctly.
