Automatic tranny floor console wiring

 One more but not the last electrical question.  The floor console harness for a 68 automatic tranny.  I've got the schematics for it and this wire is not on there.  It's dark blue with a yellow tracer.  Everything else is on there except for this wire.  Would it be for a luxury option that my car does not have?  Thanks again.

Did not the older cars have a console mounted tach? Trace the wire back to it's origin and you might have an answer.

 You're right.  Guess its a universal harness. Forgot that the older models had those tachs down there.
