While gutting the interior in my 68 when I noticed that there is a "snap" located on the headliner near each of the clothes hangers.  Does anyone here know what they are for? ???

It's a retainer for the shoulder belts. There should be a mating snap on the shoulder belt itself that matches up with the one by the coat hook to keep the shoulder belts up and out of the way when not in use.
