I am able to chip some of the paint off my door sticker. The previous owner shot over the sticker. Is there a known way to aid in the removal of the paint without damage to the sticker itself. The paint is about 24 years old and fortunately the door was not sanded down like the rest of the car when painted so a lot is chipping off.

Paint was too solid for compressed air. I used a heat gun and it worked perfect, time consuming as you don't want to get it too hot or youll melt the sticker. Just heat it enough to help scrap the paint a little at a time.
