OK  - what Chargers got these doors?    I see a car locally on CL stating it is a 1971 Charger SE ----   I know exactly jack about 3rd gens - but The car has these doors and these tail lights.

I always thought these doors were from a 1972 Rallye only?

Car has these tail lights

Car also has hideaway headlight grille, bulge hood, vinyl top, and is advertised as a 440 auto (not sure if its # matching)

any input ?

Upon closer inspection of the photos - the Charger is a 72...     so what was the Rallye package and what did it include?

I'm pretty sure those doors are 1 year only...I just don't remember what year....and I thought tail lights were one year only as well

IIRC, 1971 was the last year for the R/T. It had 2 vrticle indents on the doors with the R/T hood call out. 1972 started the Rallye option. It had 4 horizontal indents on the doors. 1973 and 1974 were identical on the outside, Rallye cars had the big-little-big stripe down each side, no door indents.
1972 Charger Topper Special, 360ci, 46RH OD trans, 8 3/4 sure grip with 3.91 gear, 14.93@92 mph.
1973 Charger Rallye, 4 speed, muscle rat. Whatever engine right now?
