My 69 St. Louis car is 102459. Sorry, no BS or fender tag. I believe it to have been F3, originally.

Looking for a CD by  'The Sub-Mersians'  entitled "Raw Love Songs From My Garage To Your Bedroom"

Also, any of the various surf-revival compilation albums this band has contributed to.
Thank you,    Kenny

Mine's a 68,  build date May 27th.

My '68's build date is May 28th...

:2thumbs:
what was your original colour?

Number on the fender tag says 331??  Any one de-code that?   :shruggy:

331 = March 31

Doesn't 331 = Charger Red (what became R4 red in 1969)?  As comfortable as I am with '69 stuff, I'm kinda lost when it comes to 1968s.

Nope, PP1 would be red
If the 331 is bottom right just before the Shipping number it is the SPD

Yes but 331 also is the code for "Charger Red" in 1968 (if listed under the "PNT" section of the tag)

I concour  :2thumbs:.....I guess he needs to clarify where he got the 331 from on his tag  :shruggy:

The "331" was under the "PNT" section on the fender tag.  I searched the site for a '68 fender tag de-coder and found one posted by another member (he developed it himself).  From the feedback he got from other '68 members on the site, it appears to be pretty good.

When I put 331 into the de-coder, it comes back with "Charger Red"...    :2thumbs:
