Somewhere along the line my superbird lost its original steering box.  Been calling around trying to find one.  I'm trying to find one that is dated correct (both assembly and casting dates). The casting date is easy to describe, however the assembly date location isn't that easy.  Expecially if the steering box is dirty/corroded unless you know where its at, it can be hard to find.  Anybody have a good picture of where the assembly date is ? That way I can just send whomever that picture and say "whats stamped here".

What I was told is that about 1/2 way through 69 production they changed how the steering boxes were dated.  The earlier ones actually had a hand stamped (into the case) assembly date (no tag).  The later part of 69 they switched and did the tags.  I'm after a picture of a steering box with the assembly date stamped right into the case.
