Hi,
Has someone around here built his own exhaust tail pipes ?
I,m  building my own 2.5" exhaust system and the taipipes are hard to do.
If so,did you use a pipe bender or did you conect diferent degrees  pipe bends?
All the sugestions will be welcome.

i think there's companys that make jsut the tail pipe sections of the exhaust and sell them as kits...but i can't remember who...
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

The problem with bending your own pipes is that you end up with a compression bend which is restrictive and hurts flow. If you're upgrading you might as well do it right and use mandrel bent pipes. There's a few companies out there that sell nice mandrel bent exhaust systems...well worth the money inmo.

Do you mean if i bend the pipes my self or with the help of a pipe bender tool?
I have seen some cheap hidraulic benders on ebay.I don,t know if they work fine or not.

I bought one of them 16 ton pipe benders from Harbor Freight. What a POS !!!!   Don't waste your money. They should have named it a Pipe Kinker.
