Nacho,

Not sure on shoes, and this is just for reference (might be able to find better prices)

But hawk HPS pads are absolutely excellent

Ive got them on my bmw all around, grab very well, even cold. Id say there the best street pad you can get, the next step up would be a race pad which on the street wouldnt stop very well, and make lots of dust/noise.

those looks to be semi metallic, right ?

better than ceramic for the hot street and cruising use ?

From my reading it's always a toss up with guys some say ceramic others say semi

id go semi considering our cars were never equipped with ceramic and id be concerned with rotor wear as I've heard some people complain about ceramic being tough on rotors

after read lot of stuff between ceramic and semimetallic, went with D39 ceramic pads ( Bendix ) wich I found at amazon store in 20 bucks.

the ceramic/semimetallic discussion has been very discussed allong the web as I have found and more less equal toward to both, but maybe ceramic with a little advantage over semimetallic, and mostly of cases considerated as an upgrade
