Got a 2010 Dodge Charger 3.5L after deployment. When it comes to electronics I am a whiz at. As far as under the hood goes, I know nothing. I am looking to mod the charger so that it has that "rumble" sound as my wife likes to call it. Not looking to spend a ton of money because it is not a HEMI engine!!!  I heard talk about Cold Air intakes, resonators and exhaust systems. I am looking for something I can do myself...can anyone give me some pointers?   Glen

unfortunately you probably wont get as much help from this site as your looking for, being as we mostly deal with the classic Chargers.

Alot of us guys will try to help, but some will just mock you incessantly.

with that out of the way if you are just looking for the sound, maybe ask around for any good local muffler shops? When i've gone to a few of the ones I got my exhaust done at I told them the sound that I wanted and they got it just about where I wanted it. Personally I don't feel cold air intakes do much of anything, at least when they are just installed by themselves. In order to use the air you would have to change all sorts of stuff to make it happy I would think. Then again, I only own and drive old stuff.

Computer programmer, air box & tube, K&N filter, cat back exhaust with X or H pipe if it's dual's, larger throttle body & swirl spacer, larger rocker ratios, better fuel pump, regulator & injectors, also maybe even better struts/shocks, brakes, tires & lighter wheels to help with handling & stopping, also to help with overall performance anything to lighten the car, fiberglass carbon fiber or aluminum were ever possible, replacing steel & cast iron... Mancini Racing,  Summit Racing  &  ShopHemi.com  are all good places to shop... Good luck.... Any performance engine combo is the same, no mater if it's a modern car or an old car, air in & air out, the engine is just a big air pump, what ever you do to improve air coming in, you will need to improve the air going out....
