I'm going to run Magnum 500 wheels, 15x7 on my 68 Charger. I am asking for ideas about what tire sizes I should consider. I don't want to run skinny factory original sizes but don't want mombo sized ones either. I used to have fatter tires in the rear but that meant I couldn't rotate them. Any ideas will be appreciated (street driven car)

255 50 15 are a good bet all around.  May be a little large on the front, and some guys dislike them for steering, but I never noticed.  Perhaps that says something about my skill as a driver.  I think this is a good look if you want to go all the same size.

Rotate?  Nah you roast the rears every chance you get and use a ratio of 4:1 rear:front.   :icon_smile_big:

255's actually fit? I had 245s on the rear of my 66 Sport Fury and it was a tight fit. Am I right going with 15x7s as opposed to 14x7's?

You can squeeze a 325 on the rear, for front up to 245 comfortably but there's a few around here running 255.

245/60's up front & 275/60's rear looks decent, I have wider wheels & like the 295/50 rears plenty of room...

255/60/15 on all 4 corners with the steelies (15x7's)

245/60/15 fronts & 295/50/15 rears on 15x8 rims with the Cragars....

You got the perfect size combo in both pics,, in my opinion...

The 255s may rub on the grease valve up front when on a lift, but with full weight on the suspension you'll be fine.

tan top

255 /60/ 15  tires on all four corners  with 15 x 8 steel wheels  & 4inch back space ,  for me  wanted the deepest dish look with all four wheels being the same & no rubbing :yesnod:

Whatever size you select, get the proper backspacing.
