Hey.. :-)

Just wanted to let people know about how Ryan was very helpfull when I wanted to buy his BeCool radiator.. I live in Denmark so shipping was a bit of an issue, but Ryan was very helpfull, and patient while I tried to figure out the best and cheapest way to ship.. He packed it up really good, and now the radiator sits in my basement waiting to be put in my '68...  :2thumbs:

If any of you guys nede to ship outside of US, try looking in to ShopUsa.. They took care of shipment, customs and tax on my purchase, for a very reasonable fee..
Ryan got a shipping quote from UPS I think it was for 500$ for only the shipment. I paid ShopUsa roughly 100$ for shipment, customs and tax..  :2thumbs:

Have a great day everybody...   :icon_smile_big:

Hey Marck, was that a private sale or did you buy it from retail outlet? I've never been given an option from the companies I've dealt with. I have spent an absolute fortune on shipping costs to Australia over the years with shipping often costing twice or three times as much as the item itself.   Fred

Hey Fred..

It was a private sale from this very site, but works with retail also..
Ryan wrote up an reciept for me to show ShopUsa, and they based the amount from this reciept... I don't know if they ship to Australia, but look in to it.. They provide you with an adress in US, so if a company is unwilling to ship overseas, it is no longer an issue..  :2thumbs:

Fred, I don't know what their prices are, but I sold some rims to a guy in New Zealand and he used a company called Mainfreight to handle the shipping. Might be an option for you.

Once again thanks for the info. But I'm wondering if places like Summit Racing or Mancini or XV Motorsport  will allow that? I had some seatbelts shipped over from XV and the shipping cost was $200.00 can you believe and the subframe connectors cost $300.00. Admittedly though, they were here in 7 days.

I know it costs a lot for you guys out of the country to get parts shipped. When I want to complain about the price of parts, I just tell myself to be glad I don't have to get them shipped overseas. Keeping the Mopar flag flying over there is a lot more expensive than it is here in the States.

As far as the parts suppliers allowing it, I do not know. Maybe if you know a friend in the States you can have the parts shipped there and then have a different shipping company pick them up there. Not sure if that is cheaper or not. :shruggy: Just throwing ideas at you.

Hello friend     :icon_smile_big:

 If you need to do that, wouldn't be a problem as long as you take care of the shipping arrangements. I live in Minnesota, though. Not sure how much it affects cost, but I am sure the closer a friend is to the West coast the cheaper it is for you.

Time for bed. Catch ya later.

Thanks very much Dean, that's very kind of you but I was only teasing you. My car is finished now so I've got everything I need for the time being. Maybe in my next life.
