I'd like to see a comprehensive list of all reproduction parts available.

I Don't know if this is where this goes on the board but I'd like to see a big long list of all the reproduction parts available for our classic Chargers and where those parts can be found. I mean everything from grill emblems to rear valance corners and everything in between. Is this too much to ask? Where else are we going to find this list and who else are we going to ask? It would be nice to have it all on one website and I can't think of a better place.

When I have more time I'll contribute all the parts I know of. I have a big list of links at home.

Call Year One, they will sell you a catalogue for $10.00 USD.

What he said.   They list 98 % of what's available.    If you want to go track down all the individual suppliers go for it.  At some shows like Carlisle they hand out free catalogs.

For what it's worth,  MCG has a lot of the new parts advertised   Otherwise, read up, stay tuned into the boards and bookmark the links as they come up.

This topic comes up every few months between here and what used to be there...  I'm sure by the time somebody actually finishes the list it'd be downlevel and therefore a chore to keep updated...  so it's not really worth the bother.

What would be the sense of a list anyway? If you need something , just do what everyone else does.Find it, order it and pay for it.

If you guys want to be a-holes about this go read another thread and leave this one alone. We come here to share information, hemihead, so why is it so difficult to help out a little instead of being obnoxious? Why is it every man for himself when we've got an online source right here where it can all be made readily available? New members have to ask the same questions all the time about where to find what. Is it so hard to take lose the smartass routine once in a while and offer some useful information? I know Year One sells most of the reproduction stuff, this ain't rocket science, but they are typically overpriced and there are other alternatives where the prices and customer service are better, correct? It's too easy for some here to make smarmy remarks rather than throw in a link or two in answer to the question. I swear, several members of this board have really made it difficult to get any serious help. I can't find all the parts I need or get good advice but I know where to come to get crap loads of free attitude. You have a nice day too.

Bull,

I didn't think anyone was being an a-hole, just having some fun with you. There is way too many parts available to really make a list, especially with the best prices. People have different opinions of who's parts & prices are better, just like which year Charger is the nicest. I think the only thing that might work to compile a list, would be a section on the forum that people can post a list a new product they saw, or know of.

Until then, I think something like the Year One or Paddock catalogs are a good source to see what's out there. There are suppliers that only use ebay & don't even have a catalog, so keeping tabs on all of them are tough. I've been saving links in a favorites folder & categorizing them by "Aftermarket" or "Used" or "Repro" & will have to regroup it by vehicle type such as Barracuda, Charger, Road Runner, etc.

Waay waay back when Troy got this new site up and running, someone had posted a whole bunch of aftermarket supplier links.  I forget how many were repro parts makers or if they were all performance mfg. but it would be on page 1 or 2 of one of these forums.

I agree that a supplier list would be nice. I will only order from Year One when I can't get my part anywhere else. I hate getting raped on shipping charges.

I think it would be a great asset to have a list of all available repro parts (besides the Year One Catalogue, omfg, can you say "bankruptcy"?).   :rotz:  I really wish I had that list in front of me when my car was all over the garage floor in pieces! Unfortunately it's gonna take some time and energy to put that list together. Sadly, it would be easier to list what is NOT available.... and that list may be equally valuable to save search time for something that is not reproduced. I'll be happy to contribute and share whatever I have learned about my restoration towards the "List".  Good thinkin Bull.....   Andy
