Nope.

And, at that price, I'm REALLY hoping it was at least a 71 6 pack car.....

Nope, '71 R/T 440 4bbl automatic and no air grabber hood either. It was yellow with black top and interior. Rotisserie restoration that looked really good on TV.

This is getting out of hand.... :rotz:  High prices are a double edged sword.  Good for those of you that already have these cars, but, there are alot more of us who WANT those cars, and they just keep getting further and further out of reach to us.

I cant believe that car would go for that much  :o

I'm glad I already have a charger, because its going to be next to impossible for the average guy to buy them in the future. I guess I can kiss my dream of owning multiple chargers goodbye... unless I win the lotto that is  ::)

TruckDriver

It did have the R/T hood on it, the louvered one. But it had a '72 grille, the '70 style Go-Wing, and the R/T tail lights were paint black like they did in '72.

Golden, It is almost impossable for the average guy to get one now. As it is now, it will probably take me 10 years to redo the one I have because of the prices for the parts alone. ::)

Fortunately, the aftermarket is picking up on 3rd gens...

most of those auction type people have more money then common sence, and i agree,im glad i have mine now, before they go sky high also

I am not happy about it.  that means every moron that has a piece of crap rustbucket of a 3rd gen will think its worth 20,000 bux or sumpin.  b-j is a rich man's game, it should not dictate prices across the board.

I paid half that for my hemi r/t in 2000 with 44,000 miles, from the original owner.  Man oh man how times have changed.  And not really for the better.  Heck, I don't think I would be able to buy one now -- it just wouldn't make sense -- so it goes.  Kim
