That would be a pretty cool runabout in town! 23hp @ 90vdc doesn't sound like much, but in that car it should make 55mph anyway and I'll bet it burns rubber in low gear-electric motors make 100% torque from zero RPM. I worked with forklifts for years, we had a few with 13-17hp motors @ 48vdc and they would spin the tires easily, with a 4.10 axle ratio and direct drive.

I'd expect this thing to get to the grocery, hairdresser, and soccer practice all on one charge.

A big 6 volt deep cycle weighs about 80lbs x 15=1200lbs.
