Are the whereabouts of the first production Daytona and the first production Superbird known?

The 287970 Dale Reeker #501 is considered the 1st .And still exists.1st superbird not sure The Lear Brothers had a very low vin car 149 .A lower vin hasnt surfaced :Twocents:

For Daytonas, what is the meaning of the wording on the first cars made? First production, pre-production...

On Superbirds, the first 5 cars were pilot cars according the Chrysler memos available on AeroWarriors.

In that article they mention the wheel openings being enlarged for bigger tires. I've never read that before. Did the prototype/concept Daytonas have different wheel openings?
