The 287970 Dale Reeker #501 is considered the 1st .And still exists.1st superbird not sure The Lear Brothers had a very low vin car 149 .A lower vin hasnt surfaced

In that article they mention the wheel openings being enlarged for bigger tires. I've never read that before. Did the prototype/concept Daytonas have different wheel openings?
