Awe man, well, getting her out in the spring will be like waiting for your birthday every year when you were a kid.  I drive mine till the first snowfall then button her up.
I do the filler up with gas, dryer sheets, mouse traps, etc.  Didnt know about the visor turn down, thats a good idea also. 

Ha, we had our first snow last week.  I had traps in the front floors and in the trunk while it was here at the house. Got a few.    Leaving traps in there wasn't the greatest idea as it's secured and while I could get in if I wanted (know the owner) I didn't want to have to worry about leaving them in there to get stanky.     Then again you just leave her in the garage.

I like to leave the traps on the floor next to the tires so i can catch them on their way into the car.  If the traps are in the car then i wonder if the smell of the peanut butter will draw them into the car to find it?..??

I found the little buggers putting maple seeds in the deck lid. Yep, they got into the trunk and would enter the deck lid at the latch hole and were filling up the little habitrail formed by the under structure that goes around the outside edge. I would lift the lid and hear the seeds tumble down to the bottom of the lid.   

So I started trapping the car and nabbed a bunch. I also trapped up the rest of the barn. After thinning the herd they no longer were going into the car. Only getting them outside in the shop area.

My Duster sits outside right now. I put tire bags over the tires to protect them from weather damage, put Irish Spring bar soap on the floor boards, put a windshield sun reflector up and took the sunvisors out (it has some leak issues so I didn't want condensation to wreck them). It's going into dry heated storage before the snow comes though. Meanwhile the Charger is in my dry warm garage sleeping

Since I putter on my cars during the winter I no longer winterize them. When I did I did what everyone else suggested plus putting the car on jack stands so i wouldn't flat spot the tires. I also bought some stuff made by OMC called storage fogger (you can buy it at most marine supply stores). I'd idle the car and spray this stuff down the carb. Was supposed to help coat the insides for the winter

Great pictures.  We talk about storage ever year.  And every year I do the same thing. Nothing.  I do start it every couple months but that's it.  I've had many muscle cars and never added additives or did anything with the tires.  I just run them for 10 minutes every couple months.  Since the ethanol issue and what I've read about it drying rubber parts or sticking valves I am gonna try to run the car in Dec Jan  Feb and March once for 10 mins.  That's how I do it here in Ct.  I do use it a little in Nov, like tomorrow I'll take it for a short cruise, just because I can.

Im pretty much the same way.  Once the first snowfall hits and there is salt on the roads, the charger is pretty much moth balled till there is a good rain to wash away all the salt in March or April.  Till then I get to work on any of the projects that I have put on my list to get done over the winter.  The only time it might see any movement is in and out of the garage and into the driveway to get work done.

I am a high school wrestling coach, so I don't have much time for projects through the winter.  This is my last year coaching, so I guess I will have some time after this winter.

I'm not a fan of cats to begin with (Sorry TUFCAT) but cats on cars makes my blood boil. Don't you have a problem with them scratching the paint? 

When I had a neighbor across the street and they had cats the dam things would go into my barn climb up on my cars and use them as launching pads to catch birds. At the same time leaving scratches in my paint.

Im not a cats fan either...I gave up trying to keep him off of the car.....there are two car covers on it and a blanket over the hood!  I figured if he kept mice out of it I would put up with him hanging out
