Just wondering what type of prep and paint methods people are using to paint their 68-70 Charger grilles? The car is now painted and I have repaired the 9 broken teeth in the grill am now ready to paint it so I can install it in the grille frame and then mount the front bumper and valance. I'm not interested in "high dollar" resto stuff. I was thinking of using plain old Testors model paint. Or doinig a test spray on a headlight bucket with Aluminum "hardware store" enamel paint (Rustoleum type) anybody had any luck with either of these methods. Or something similar?

The bugle sounds the charge begins. But on this battlefield no one wins.

Pretty much everything you need to know to restore a grille is in the Grill Restoration Database Thread.  You may want to check there...
