Has anyone run and MSD with a factory tach. I have a 69 charger with MSD 6A box. Tach was no hooked up when I got the car and I don't know if it works. Should it work off of the MSD tach outlet ? Thanks for the help. :-\

Ive seen a post that some people said they had an issue with the MSD ignition. Search the boards im sure you will find it

If its an OE tic toc you need an MSD tach adapter, if its one that has gotten an overhaul with the new electronics than i believe it will work fine. Im assuming its an old one, and youll need the adapter...but theres a good likely hood that the thing isnt going to work right regardless (not because of the MSD but because factory tic tocks are known to have issues)

Its kind of a toss up, you could spend 60$ on the MSD and possibly still have a dead tach (if its no good) or maybe just get in touch with Dash Worx (RTE) and see how much it costs to rebuild your tack with the new electronic units and not need the tach adapter.
