Ok, Had a brain fart this afternoon.
redoing 2 seperate dash's this week and ran into an issue.1st one is for a 1969 Charger and the other is supposed to be 1969 Coronet. Both are the swing down style

I have 2 different style ash tray outer faces/panels. one has a thicker top lip approx 1/2" wide versus the other which is only maybe 3/8" wide

Will post pictures later tonight, but wondered maybe knows exactly what I'm talking about

Not sure what you are asking?   :shruggy:

Are you trying to figure out which one goes with which dash?

Bill, it's the narrow one.

Here's a shot of my '69 ashtray. (Pay no attention to the paint chips!)  :D
It is narrow just like the one you have pictured.

I guess the other one for the Coronet is with a non-rallye dash?? Interesting!

Bill, I have gone out to the garage several times, but I believe in my 69 I have the tray on the right with the less pronounced endenture.  Infact unless it is at just the right you can't even tell there is an endention.  I am assuming that is the ash tray that came in my car.

Thats the way I had them laid out to coresponde with,,and what I was pretty sure was correct. But when I seen the differences, made me wonder if I screwed up along the way somehow

Wierd part is the 2nd one is 1969 Coronet,,,,,, also rallye dash( unless it's not the original one for the dash - which is very possibile. ) I received it as stripped dash , strickly for a repaint.
Maybe I'll shot that owner an email and see if it's the original one for that car.

Thanks all
