I found this under my 68 charger when I backed it out of the garage. I'm positive it came from the car. Just not sure where.

drum brake self adjuster...if that came out, you got bigger problems....those are inside the drum between the bottom of each shoe....

Ok that makes sence. I had a rear brake lock up. I had to remove the cover to move the car in and out of the garage while working on it.

If your missing any pieces most auto parts stores carry parts kits. Stay away from the stores that don't know that there is a difference between drivers side and passenger side.

Only self-adjusters are different side-to-side. The one in the OP's pic looks like a manual adjuster.
