ok i have the old intake off and im getting ready to take the new one to get port matched and i have a couple questions...
1. what should i use to clean the surface where the gasket will go? will carb or brake cleaner work?
2. is it REALLY worth it to port match the intake, im on a budget but my heads have been ported.
3. any tips at all before i start the install, i really dont want to fvck this one up  :icon_smile_big:

ive opted not to port match it, just looking at the heads and intake it doesnt really seem like it would help much. and are the intake bolts the same size for mopar, chevy, ford...? i just checked the the intake bolts are teh same as my 327, can i just buy chevy intake bolts? since thats all they sell at pep boys and my old ones look like shizzle.

brake clean or carb cleaner will work to clean the surface , neither leave any residual oils etc
I would use the 1214 [B engine] or the 1215 [ RB engine ] intake gasket as it will block the heat crossover
any 3/8 coarse thread bolt will work as long as it is long enough
