I have seen this clone for sale on Ebay and the price started at $140K in September, went to $100K and then down to $90K.
it looks like a nicely done tribute car, but the price still seems high to me. What do you think?
Not sure how long the link will work since the auction ended -

Assuming that a person has the money and can buy a nice 440 Superbird for the same price, which car would you rather own?     Even though the Hemi clone checks all the right boxes, once you get close to spending genuine wing car money,  it becomes a hard sell.    I am sure the owner can justify the price because he paid to have the car professionally built and it is very nice.

with the price of real one down to what he asking its going to be a hard sell

i would say 50 k for a nice clone and add 20k  for the hemi
so 70 k tops and that hemi is the only thing going for it over buying an original

70K was what I was thinking - half what he started asking for it.  :popcrn:

"...here is one of the most accurately constructed  "tributes" ever completed."

Really?  Where's the front rub strip?  It's (supposed to be) the front-most thing on the car.

It's a great looking car, but that's a pretty strong statement.

I know the market is crap right now.But from experence I can tell you 50K is bottom line for a clone.I have that + in mine and did EVERYTHING myself. And I started with a rust free body! :Twocents:
1970 Superbird Tribute 440 auto
1968 Charger 426 6 pack auto
1971 Chevelle SS Tribute 350 4 speed
1970 Mustang 351 C 4 speed
1969 GTO 400 Ram air III 4 speed
1972 Charger (soon 5.7 hemi auto)
1973 Charger 440 auto (U code)
If you've never been scared (even a little) then you've never gone as fast as you could have!

That's way too much for that car even with a hemi.  At 90K, I know where for an additional 10K a guy could buy a real Superbird thats a real nice rust free, bucket seat, 4-speed, dana car that has a six pack.  :icon_smile_big:

Well I can tell you, if Larry had priced my Daytona Replica at that price, I still wouldn't have a winged car.  I also doubt that is as well done as the car Larry did for me.  Thanks Larry!!!
