Hey all,

Could someone please post a pic of a 1972 400 4brl Spread-bore intake manifold? If anyone knows if it's the same design as the 73 or 74 version then please post a pic of that as well.

Does anyone know if the 75-76 version (Cast # 3830949) is the same too? I see these all over the place for sale.

Thanks!

I have a 73, I guess. It is 3671879.  Functionally, the runners are configured the same and would result in similar performance.  Aesthetically, on the exterior, the 72 and 73 do not have the EGR valve mounting and look cleaner.  The 73 has what appears to be the first step toward the EGR as there are provisions (holes with nozzles if IIRC) in the plenum under the carb for the EGR.  I plugged mine a long time ago.  I believe the 72 is free of this.

No.

Hopefully others chime in, as I'm only guessing what the 72s and 74s are probably like.
