Putting a new throttle cable in my 69 Charger 440.  Does anyone know of a source for the grooved grommet that fits in the Accelerator Pedal Bracket.  Thanks.

went NS1 thru Mopar a few years ago. so NOS might not be real hard to come up with.

otherwise it's used only

Thanks.  Do you know what the part number would be?

Found the number: 2465486.  I'll have to check on Monday to see if its been superseded by another number and if its still available.

I did a google search of that part number a couple of years ago and there was a guy on e-bay selling the insulator, washer and clip as a kit. He no longer offers them and I've found no others from NOS vendors.

In desperation, I just enlarge the hole in the bracket and trim common hardware store grommets.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Thanks for the info.  Not the news I was hoping for.  Used is probably not an option.  The one I removed from my car and the couple I have seen on junked cars are just that: "junk".

Update.  Part has been cancelled by Mopar.  None in stock nationwide.  BTW, that grommet was used up through 1981 models.

Thanks. That's the plug that holds the end of throttle cable wire in (i.e. prevents it from falling out). The grommet is what insulates the whole throttle cable and goes into the accelerator bracket.

Ah ok, thanks for the explanation. Good luck with your search.
