Manual Steering Ratio

Ok I have started rebuilding the front end of my 68 Charger R/T 4spd.  It will get a 440 or 500 inch motor, not sure yet.  Dana 60 rear with 3:54s.  Sway bars front and back.

My question is should I go to a faster ratio manual box?  I currently have a 24:1 ratio, should I go with a 20:1 or a 16:1 or stay with the stock 24:1?

Thanks

Depends on what you want to use it for. I will never put a 20:1 or 16:1 in a BB street car. Anything faster with a big block and heavy car and I don't think you would like it.  I swapped in a 20:1 ratio only because I needed faster steering response for high speed corners (reflexes aint what they used to be!). It's not real fun to drive around town, and darn-right unpleasant to turn around in the driveway.
