Here's another gratuitous post........I'm shameless. :D  Diane and I entered the Fabulous Flashback car show in Ukiah, Ca. over the weekend. It was held on several blocks of the towns' old main street. Perfect weather and well attended. I regret I have no pictures to share with you, I still have no new camera. Our new one was supposed to be here yesterday so we'll be looking for it today. The Ukiah auto dealerships sponsor a trophy for their choice of "Best Classic Muscle Car" and they awarded it to us! WooHoo
I had to barrow my neighbors camera to share a picture of it with you all. Have a great week everyone.

Congratulations.  You should be proud and you have every right to brag.  That is a different from the garden variety kind of trophy too.

Right on Tom! :2thumbs:

For those who haven't seen Tom and Diane's Charger, it is as crisp and clean of a classic muscle car as there is anywhere. It's good to see that the Ukiah folks (it's Chevy country) can appreciate a great Charger.

Hi Steve, I really, really wanted to attend that show because it's held at such great venue and Dan's description sealed my interest. I was spousally denied the chance to go this year because of a Saturday wedding...........to someone I met once.  :shruggy:
I suggested I go alone.........this was not received in the manner I'd hoped. Sooooo.....a happy wife makes for a happy life.......I guess. Next year for sure, wifal obligations be damned.

Cool trophy! I like the ones that have some effort put into them. Not just the plastic POS most give out. There is a guy here who owns a custom carpentry business here. He builds a differant trophy in memory of his dad every year for the club his dad was in. Its always cool.

I made a few over the years for my dads club. I would weld old car parts, engine parts, trany parts together. I always used a old connecting rod in it somewhere and put a clock in the crank jornal end.  I wish I would have taken pictures of them.

I, too, like creative trophy's/awards. The stuff you're making would really be cool to see something like that show up at our local shows. I know you're working your butt off at the shop but I'd love to see some of these pieces you've made.

I haven't made any in a few years and I never was smart enough to take any pics of them. I'll check with my Mom and see if she has any pictures from the car shows.

That's a cool looking award to get. Very sharp!
