BTW, nice pics - love the rat rod stuff.  No one worries about part numbers, date codes, etc... unless it's to prove that it DIDN'T get built that way originally.

Are there any cool shows in October that you know of?  I'm thinking about heading over this fall (there's a reason why).  Just curious.

It did indeed start life out as a Poly 318 (the Semi-Hemi), and in this particular truck no less.  I painted the valve covers black wrinkle, because this engine wants to be a Hemi when it grows up.
