Anybody have pictures? Subframe connectors in 73-up Charger?

I'm looking for a reference as to how subframe connectors would work in a rubber-isolated K-Frame setup. Obviously, the torsion bar cross-member is where they would tie in, but the transmission cross-member makes this a bit more difficult. :o

Anybody successfully done this? :scratchchin:

Swap out the rubber K-frame mounts for solid. Firm feel had them at one time.
I may be schizophrenic but at least I have us!

I plan to use urethane bushings verses the rubber items.

Part of the reason I like my late B-body is the comfort of the ride, which is tremendous compared to the earlier rides.
But I'd still like to see a subframe connector on one of these cars.

On my fone so its a bit hard to find things, but my resto thread is in the charger section with pics...there a bit large for some but they do a great job.

I put the poly k-frame mounts in mine some years ago. What a differance they made. The spungy steering feel is gone. The car no longer feels like the wheels are fallowing the road cracks and the car is taking a second to catch up to them. That being said, my rubber mounts were shot! Bad! I also notice alot more road and engine vibration through the steering wheel and floor. It's not a big deal to me but you did say you like the ride of your B-body.

I was looking through your thread. You're doing a heck of a good job on your Charger! :2thumbs:

I really couldn't see how you attached your subframe connectors to your front subframe?
I might be a bit daft here, but doesn't the torsion bar cross-member (rubber isolated) mount BEHIND the transmission crossmember (non-rubber isolated)?
