Hey gang.
Posing a question here. I've never done this before, but how difficult is it to remove the shaft of a manual steering column and replace it with the shorter shaft from a power steering column? I'm helping a buddy with his manual-to-power conversion. Albeit finding a complete column would be nice and bolt-in, we could still keep his original column and just swap out the shafts...

Thanks in advance..

not hard to do , if you have a service manual it will walk you through it , there are a couple of parts that you need to be sure you get back in in the correct order , take pix as you disassemble .
