I think I made a post about this years ago when I first signed up, but couldn't find it. Anyways I just came across this thing again so I thought I would see if anyone knew if it is the same style/ size that the factory would have used. I found it inside my quarter panel a long time ago, and always thought it was a cool find if it has been there since the car was built.

Looks like a grease pencil we used to use at the tire store to mark tires for various things.  You can probably still get those.  I may even have one around here..

Yea, some guy at the factory probably dropped it in your quarter panel and just grabbed another one rather than fish it out. They still make those, now used mostly for marking tires I believe.

Yep we used those when I was in the auto assembly business.

I found a 1969 Snickers candy bar wrapper when I ripped out the headliner in a 70 coronet I had,It was stuffed up in the center between the skin and the skeleton, still have the wrapper somewhere
