Hi guys, someone in the past has fitted a blower(a fake one I think) so obviously there is a hole now in the hood, is it possible do you think for a good paint shop to repair the hood? Weld the hole back up and paint it etc, I know there is the swage line in the middle which may make it difficult but any thoughts on if it could be repaired? i'm in England so sourcing a new hood is not easy over here, see pic below, sorry that's the best pic I have at the moment, thanks

yeah that can be fixed !!    pitty the guy who cut the hole  did not save the bits he cut out  :yesnod:
will take a bit of time to make the underside  look factory though  :yesnod:

It will have to be fixed as there isn't a reproduction available. You could buy used but that's hardly worth the expense. Perhaps someone has a messed up hood and can cut a section for you? I'm assuming it's missing part of the internal frame as well?

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

A more fun option is putting a real blower motor under the hood(well most of it under).
