Two things I have promised my wife that I would not personally work on.  Those being the things that make the car GO and STOP.  I have asked some various brake shops in Austin about converting the brakes but their company policy will not allow them to do it.  Any ideas on who to contact to make this happen?  I have the money to pay someone to convert them, just not the brains or time to do the work myself.

Not sure about that. I personally never looked into having someone else do it, but I am sure they are trying to avoid any litigation by altering the stock braking system. I did mine myself and it was pretty easy. I got a SSBC kit for my '69 and it works great. Good luck.
