Get together at Mopar Nationals?

I know it's been determined that an official one jsut never seems to work out there but is anyone planning a different less formal one?  I usually do a bbq thing on Saturday but I won't this year as work will intervene.  I do plan to be there Thursday and Friday but will kind of have my head down to get everything done in half the time I usually take so seeking out familiar cars and faces will be harder.

Oh yeah, that's the other part.  Extremely likely I'll have my Charger there this year so anyone used to looking for it up there in the normal spot by the one entrance won't find it.

I'll be there Fri to Sun morning. I was even thinking of bringing the car. I can't commit to that just yet however because it is stuck in my trailer currently. The rear door hinges don't have grease zerts and they seized up. I have to sort that out before deciding to take the Charger with me.

BTW, does anyone have an opinion of the gathering in Newark over Nats weekend? I think I read about bands and wings/ribs festival. Is it worth it?

Very worth it!  Forget Brice, it's dead and gone.  Everything good is Heath and Newark direction.

Been doing Heath for a few years now. We always end up hanging out near the Ruby Tuesdays resturant. I always liked Brice Road though. Looks like the "Newark Music and Wings Festival" may be off the beaten path.

Ok, so ONE TIME Telvis and his son showed up, said it was flippin' hot, and went back to their hotel to swim in the pool. After that I decided that a group meet at the Nationals was a really horrible idea.

I'd be happy to meet anytime. Maybe meet up Friday or Saturday after the show? How about in Heath? Might be more enjoyable than meeting at the big lightpole by the smokey burger stand near the Nats giveaway tent and Mancini traffic jam. 
I'm not taking a car so I'll be floating around all weekend. If any of you will be staking out your territory with your car let me know where and when.
I know...we could all meet in Legendary Auto's huge tent and pretend like we might buy something. Maybe they won't catch on. Come to think of it I could use a new carpet for the Dart.

The parking lot in front of HH Greg Electronics store is usually pretty empty by 8:00 pm . It's next to the Tumbleweed restaurant toward the south end of the Route 79 cruise zone.

Might be a good place to meet on Fri. or Sat. night.

Ok, looks like I'm going tomorrow (Friday). I have to haul some stuff and the forecast is for rain Saturday and Sunday. I'll be gone by 5 PM but may be tempted to stay a little later for dinner.

Well, how was the nats guys.. I was supposed to head down, but my plans changed, and that combined with the supposed `rain`in the forcast, and I decided not to..
looks like I made a bad decision. In the last 15 yrs I`ve been going, I heard it was some of the best weather..
