whats the counterweight diameter on a 440 stock crank ?

I think the 440 3.75" stroke crankshaft counter weights are 7.48" in diameter (according to 440source), if you plan on using 1 in a 383-400 B-block the diameter needs to be trimmed down to 7.12", to clear everything with out block modifications...

I have built a bunch of the 383 & 400 B-engine strokers in many configurations & strokes from 3.75"-3.95"-4.15"-4.25" It really depends on you block & if there is any core shift the 7.120" diameter take any core shift out of the equation completly... & yes you can get away with 7.250" diameter sometimes :Twocents:
