empty gas filter...

Hev you eve used those clear gas filters ? have you noticed sometimes they get empty or ALLMOST empty and car still running ?

what causes that ?

a friend of mine is getting that right now... engine still running BUT last time he gave throttle and engine died

i was running a clear one for a while years ago when i first got  my charger ! start it up from cold , filter would be full !! for a few minutes soon as the motor started to get near normal opperating temperature filter would be half full , rev motor would still be half full or just a little over !!
never affected the running of the motor  :scratchchin:  

, flip  the electric A/C delco street pump that the second owner plumbed  in , filter would be full all the time  :shruggy:
